In order to ensure that your project is completed in a timely manner, here are a list of the things that we will need in order to ensure that your project is delivered on schedule.

  • About Us Info: We will need any information that you will want to go on your about us page. Bios and profiles of company principles as well as an overview of your company. If you have a lot of information, send everything. It is ALWAYS better to have Too Much information than Not Enough.

  • Information About Your Services/Products: Think of your website as a digital brochure that is ALWAYS working to sell your business. As with your About Us, More Information is NEVER a bad thing.

  • Unique Value Proposition: How does your business differentiate itself from others in your industry?

  • Keywords You Want To Rank For: Google is the elephant in the room when it comes to Search Engine Optimization. Setting your business up to be discovered by potential customers looking for your services will make the difference between expanding your business and struggling to keep the lights on.

  • Social Media Accounts: Social Media is a critical component in getting your message in front of your target audience.

Please be advised that while our Design Specialists will perform basic editorial services to optimize your copy, it will be your responsibility to provide the information that you would like for us to include in your site design. Legacy Consulting Solutions highly recommends doing a business plan prior to contacting us to design and launch your site.
On most projects Legacy Consulting Solutions can provide stock images that are free to use on commercial projects. This will avoid any potential legal issues that may arise down the road from using Google images (yes, it's actually happened. Not a fun experience.)

If we are unable to find free images for your project, there may be additional costs associated with obtaining the images necessary to design your site.

What Next?

  1. You will need to determine if your domain name is available. Your domain name is your digital address and before you can do anything else, you will need to ensure that it is available. As a rule of thumb, you want to keep your domain name as short as possible, preferably less than 13 letters, if possible. Be advised that sometimes your preferred domain name will be unavailable. Consider at least 5 domain names that you feel would be optimal.

  2. If you have your logo in a digital form (JPEG or PNG format), you will need to get that together. If you do NOT have a logo, there are several options that you have. Check out Logo Garden to design your own logo for Free.

  3. You have multiple choices of platform you may want to use. Because we use platform services, we are able to offer you a professionally designed site that paints your business in the best light for a fraction of what it would cost to program a site from scratch. We predominantly use Weebly, Squarespace or Wordpress for our client projects.
